Dawood Rebar aims at ZERO accidents and is following the highest standards of safety throughout the company with all the levels of its workforce and is trying to implement future planning of safety by the continuous training of all its workers & employees with the latest standards of the safety industry.
POLICY ON SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT
It is the policy of Dawood Rebar LLC to provide a safe place of work for all of its employees by taking such reasonable steps as are necessary to eliminate hazards to health and potential causes of forseeable accidents.
Therefore, a policy for participation will be pursued on all matters related to safety at work, the aim being to create a continuously improving awareness of the obligations that all the company employees have in achieving zero accident rate in the company premises.
The management is committed to :-
- Providing a safe and healthy work place for all the employees.
- Provide adequate training for all the employees at all levels to enable them to perform their duties safely & sufficiently.
- Providing safety devices & personal protective equipment and supervise its use.
- Provide for the staff’s or worker’s needs.
- Actively review & update our policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness in reducing risk to our employees.
- Promote within the company a sense of concern for the environment and be alert to the potential of creating environmental damage through our operations & employees actions.
- Use & maintain safety equipment and clothing provided by the company.
- Promptly report incidents and near misses that could have lead to injury or damage.
- Assist management in the investigation of accidents or incidents as required.
- Inform the management when an incident or accident has occurred and act according to their advice to rectify it immediately.
